Dan Dye

Dan Dye is an artist with a love for painting, drawing, and silversmithing. By first grade, he had his own artistic style, and he got in trouble for not coloring in the lines. His mother reprimanded the teacher sating, "Dan doesn't have to color within the lines!" She was right.Dan and his wife visited Venice in 2016. He painted the illustration in chapter eleven from his hotel room. That room also inspired the Wellington's library. Dan has been a generous volunteer for the Red Cross since 1975, giving eighty pints of whole blood and over 560 platelet donations. He lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife.
