David T. Morgan

David T. Morgan, a professional historian, spent 33 years in the college classroom, having taught at Patrick Henry College, Texas A&M University, and the University of Montevallo--24 years of his career at the latter. He was also a visiting professor at Rhode Island College, Temple University Japan, and Beloit College. During 1998-1999 he was national president of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honor society. He was awarded his BA degree by Baylor University (1959) and his MA and Ph.D. degrees by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1964 and 1968 respectively). He currently lives in Alabama with Judith M. Morgan, his wife of 53 years. They have two adult children, Cindi Reeves and Brian Morgan, and two grandchildren, Matt Reeves and Riley Paige Morgan.
