Deborah Jean Miller

Deborah Jean Miller grew up in Southeast Michigan and never left. Prior to writing her first novel, The Essence of Shade, Deborah was a meat wrapper, accountant, quality control analyst, and a director of operations. After retiring, she wrote the stories that have plagued her brain for over fifteen years. When not holed up in her writing cave, Deborah spends time in the kitchen, daydreaming that she is the next Food Network star.
