Deborah Raney

Award-winning fiction author Deborah Raney has a gift for dealing with difficult issues in a sensitive and compassionate manner. Her 1996 release, A Vow to Cherish, was a fictional account of one couple's struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Deborah's powerful portrayal of that painful ordeal won her a 1997 Angel Award. As a popular writer, speaker, and stay-at-home mother of four, Deborah has her hands full. She is active in her community as a Sunday school teacher, a volunteer in her children's school, a member of her town's recreation-community education board, and yet manages to find time to write as well. Deborah, her husband, author/illustrator Ken Raney, and their children live in Kansas.
