Dimitar Dimitrov is a Macedonian politician, scientist, writer.
Dimitrov was the Minister of Culture and the Minister of Education of the Republic of Macedonia, the Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to Russia and Belarus.
He has a reputation for being a Bulgarophile intellectual in his country. Dimitrov acknowledges that there was a process of de-bulgarisation in the 20th century on the territory of North Macedonia.
Dimitrov is an author of philosophical, political and children's books. He published 3 books with short stories for children: "Shepherd boy", "Goodbye, childhood" and "When we are children".
