Edmond Hamilton

Edmond Hamilton (1904-1977) was one of the pioneering figures of American science fiction. A prolific author during the Golden Age of the genre, Hamilton wrote numerous novels and short stories that helped define the sweeping scale and imaginative scope of space opera. His works include the influential Captain Future series as well as many classic tales of cosmic adventure that continue to inspire readers and writers of speculative fiction.
