Ellen Key

Ellen Key (1849-1926) was a Swedish feminist writer, philosopher, and educator whose work focused on the rights of women and the reform of marriage and divorce laws. She wrote extensively about the need for greater equality between men and women, and her works had a significant influence on the Swedish women's movement. She advocated for educational reform, and her most famous work, The Century of the Child (1900), argued for the importance of childhood education. Key was also an advocate for pacifism and internationalism, and her work had a major impact on the development of the international peace movement.
