Emeril Lagasse

Emeril Lagasse is the chef-proprietor of 13 restaurants across the country and the author of 18 cookbooks. He has received numerous Best Restaurant, Best Chef, and Best Service awards, and in 2013 received the Humanitarian of the Year Award from the James Beard Foundation for his work through the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, which supports children’s educational programs. Emeril’s phenomenally successful Food Network show Emeril Live! launched a new era in culinary TV. Most recently, he is the co-host for TNT’s Off the Menu with Ty Pennington and appeared in several seasons of Bravo’s Top Chef as a guest judge. Emeril is also the food correspondent for Good Morning America and has two series running on the Cooking Channel: Emeril’s Florida and Originals with Emeril. Born and raised in Fall River, Massachusetts, he is a graduate of Johnson & Wales.
