Eugene Heimler

Prof. Dr. Eugene Heimler (1922-1990), was a true hero of the 20th century. As a Hungarian Jew, he was deported to Auschwitz, Buchenwald and other concentration camps, survived and immigrated to England. From his experiences in the concentration camps he created an innovative approach, the Heimler Method of Social Functioning, which helps people transform their frustration into satisfaction and creativity. He wrote many books, including the international bestseller Night of the Mist and My Life After Auschwitz. He taught his method at universities in Europe, U.S.A. and Canada.
