Gina Wisker

GINA WISKER is Head of Learning and Teaching at the University of Brighton, UK. She is an Oxford centre for Staff and Learning development consultant, running workshops worldwide on learning and teaching. She is author of a number of books and articles including Post-Colonial and African American Women's Writing (Palgrave Macmillan, 2000), Insights into Black Women's Writing (Macmillan, 1992), Beginners Guides to Angela Carter, Sylvia Plath, Toni Morrison, Virginia Woolf (Hodder, 2001- 2003), and Continuum Contemporary Guide on Margaret Atwood's Alias Grace (Palgrave Macmillan, 2001). She is also one of the editors of the journal Innovations in Education and Teaching International and on the advisory board for FEMSPEC and the Atlantic Literary Review.
