H. R. Coursen

H R Coursen has published 16 books on Shakespeare, 32 books of poetry, and 34 novels. "Consistently readable line by line, when he gets a structure, he is a killer," says Barry Matzberg of Coursen's fiction. His novels have included 'The Outfielder,' about major league baseball during WW II (a story that has never been told) and 'After the War,' a fictionalized account of the life and death of Manfred, Baron von Richthofen. He has been a short order cook, a squash professional, a college professor, and a fighter pilot in the USAF.
