Henri Poincaré

Henri Poincaré (1854-1912) was a French mathematician, physicist, and philosopher. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest mathematicians of all time, and his works on the theory of relativity and chaos theory laid the foundations for modern mathematics and science. He is also renowned for his work on the philosophy of science, which sought to reconcile modern science with the traditional rationalism of the Enlightenment.
