James Morton

James Morton is Director of Investments at European American Securities (EAS), and Manager of the Chelverton Fund, which specialises in micro cap stocks. Since inception the Chelverton Fund has outperformed all relevant indices as well as the FTSE 100. He also manages Chelverton Dividend Income, a high yield equity fund. He is Investment Advisor to the Tail Wind Fund which specialises in buying publicly traded equities at a discount to the market price; and International Investment Advisor on the European portfolio of funds managed by Cundill Investment Research. His 25 years in the financial services sector span commercial banking, corporate finance and investment management, and embrace 16 separate countries. He has a BA in law from Cambridge, an MBA from Stanford Business School, and an MA in Third World Economics from the Stanford Food Research Institute. James Morton is the author of Investing with the Grand Masters, and editor of The Financial Times Guide to Global Investing, both published by Financial Times Prentice Hall.
