Jean Joachim

Jean C. Joachim, parent of two sons, spent sixteen years as a board member of the parents associations of New York City elementary, middle, and high schools. Naturally drawn to fund-raising, she participated in many committees and chaired a few as well.In each school, Jean was part of a team that created ground-breaking fund-raising events. It wasn’t long before fund-raising captured her heart. It wasn’t about the money but the sense of community it built within the school and among the parents, teachers, administrators, and students.
