Jeremy Varner

Lurking in the shadows of many sci-fi and fantasy communities, Jeremy Varner started writing stories for his own amusement at a young age and never grew out of it. Exposed to these genres as a kid, he grew up dreaming not only of these amazing worlds but being one of the people to craft them. With his debut novel, Shards of Glass, Jeremy started not only the Agent of Argyre series but making that dream into a reality. Continuing his work on the Agent of Argyre series, Jeremy hopes to expand the world of the Alters and draw people into a place where fantastic creatures can exist right next door (for better or worse). A fan of the concept of Clarke's Laws and the idea that any sufficiently advanced or unknown science is indistinguishable from magic, Jeremy wants to bring creatures of legend into a more tangible world - even if that world doesn't always make sense to the characters living in it.For announcements of future projects, Jeremy's thoughts on various topics, or extra material about the world outside of the Seattle Fangtown, fans of the Agent of Argyre series can find more at Jeremy's website and twitter account. He may, at times, go quiet for a while, but will usually rise from his grave again if someone gives him a nudge. It's cheaper than a necromancer or a new cybernetic body and generally more pleasant.
