John William Polidori

John Polidori was a gothic writer, a doctor, and the uncle of Dante, who briefly served as Lord Byron's personal physician. Edward Bulwer-Lytton was a popular writer who coined such phrases as "the pursuit of the almighty dollar" and "the pen is mightier than the sword." Clemence Housman was a British author, illustrator, feminist, and social activist, who was a sister of poet A. E. Housman and writer-illustrator Laurence Housman.
