Kate Braid has published three books of poetry: Covering Rough Ground (Polestar), which won the Pat Lowther Award, To This Cedar Fountain (Polestar), nominated for the BC Poetry Book Prize, and Inward to the Bones: Georgia O'Keeffe's Journey with Emily Carr (Polestar), winner of the Vancity Book Prize. With poet Sandy Shreve she edited In Fine Form: The Canadian Anthology of Form Poetry (Polestar). Braid has also written, co-written or edited three books of non-fiction, and her essays, articles and poems have been widely published and anthologized. She lives in Burnaby, British Columbia.
