Kathleen King is the founder of the Hamptons' premier bakery, Tate's Bake Shop, and the creator of America's #1 chocolate chip cookie, according to Everyday With Rachael Ray Magazine. Born and raised on her family's Long Island farmstead, Kathleen began baking and selling her signature handcrafted desserts off of a fold-out card table at age eleven. Now, with distribution into over 5,000 gourmet & specialty retailers across the country, Tate's Bake Shop's line of all-natural baked goods has garnered the attention of the nation and earned Kathleen the praise of The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Food & Wine Magazine, and Newsweek, to name just a few. Kathleen has appeared on FoxNY's "Good Day New York," Food Network's "Barefoot Contessa" with Ina Garten, Plum TV's "Live What You Love," and CNBC's "The Big Idea with Donnie Deutsch" & "How I Made My Millions."
