Liv Bartlet is writing partners Becca McCulloch and Sarah McKnight. Sarah infused Kat with the energy and multiculturalism of her own military and artistic background while Becca volunteered to spend hours eavesdropping on up-and-coming writers while they lunched in Los Feliz, California. Together, they've logged hours of behind-the-scenes movie and TV footage and challenged each other in a friendly Oscar guessing game every year this millennium. On one such night, the image of the potted palm that hides Kat's award show misadventures led to the creation of a whole new world within the Hollywood they both love so very much. Becca is a professor and lives with her husband, two children, and a menagerie of pets in Logan, Utah. Sarah works in advertising and lives with her cat, Sir Jack, in Salt Lake City.
