Marc Blake

Marc Blake is has written numerous articles on Sitcom and comedy for the Evening Standard, Mail, Express and Scriptwriter magazine, as well as being a consultant for the BCG - British Comedy Guide website. He has acted as Comedy Writing Consultant for the SABC (South African Broadcasting Company) as well as leading courses in Belgium, Edinburgh and all over the UK. At City University he taught Sitcom and Comedy writing for fifteen years with graduates including Katherine Tate and the co-creators of 'Genius' (BBC2) and 'The Thick of It' (BBC1). He continues to teach Sitcom at Kensington and Chelsea College and screenwriting at Solent University on both their graduate and post-graduate programmes. He has sold three sitcoms to ITV and the BBC and his TV two-part Drama 'The Swap' (ITV) was broadcast in 2002 to great acclaim and nine million viewers.
