Born in Bahía Blanca, Argentina in 1975, María Laura Sanchez Puerta is a Lead Economist at the World Bank, where she has worked for more than fifteen years. She has a PhD in Economics from Cornell University, is a researcher and program manager (as well as a marathon runner, tennis player and black belt in Tae Kwon Do) and has written various publications addressing topics related to human development. Her first literary work, Just in Time, opens a new dimension in her life and her career.
