Mark A. Chambers

Mark A. Chambers has conducted research and technical writing in support of Langley's aeronautical and space research programs at the NASA Langley Research Center since 1991. While serving as a writer/editor in support of the Langley Office of Public Affairs and contributor of technical articles to the internal Langley newspaper The Researcher, he composed publications on aeronautics and space research including The Birthplace of American Aviation: Milestones in Aviation and Aeronautical Research in the Mid-Atlantic Region. His career in support of Langley activities includes numerous articles, Fact Sheets, national news releases, historical summaries, and resource books. He currently serves as a senior technical writer for NCI Information Systems and has participated in writing/editing efforts in support of the Langley Aeronautics Research Directorate (ARD), the Langley Flight Projects Directorate (FPD), the Clouds and the Earth's Radiant Energy System (CERES) Program and the Langley Ares I-X Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Office. Mr. Chambers and his family live in Newport News, VA.
