Mary Eades

Mary Dan Eades is a native Arkansan and a retired medical doctor, who trained at the University of Arkansas, and who, with her husband, developed and operated a chain of urgent care family medicine clinics for many years. She is a New York Times best-selling author, having written or co-authored 14 non-fiction books on nutrition, health, and fitness, including the best-seller Protein Power (Bantam 1996) as well as multiple books on low-carb and sous vide cooking. She is married to the physician, author, and blogger Michael Eades. The couple have three sons (all married to strong, smart women) and seven grandchildren. The Drs.
