Wahiduddin Khan

Maulana Wahiduddin Khan is an Islamic spiritual scholar whohas adopted peace as the mission of his life. Known for his Gandhian views, he considers non­violence as the only method to achieve success. Keeping this ideal consistently before him, he has written over 200 books on Islam and a commentary on the Quran. His most recent publication is The Prophet of Peace: The Teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (Penguin Books). Internationally recognized for his contributions to world peace, he has received, among others, the Demiurgus Peace International Award, the Padma Bhushan, and the Rajiv Gandhi National Sadbhavna Award.
