Max Beer

Max Beer (1864–1943) was a socialist historian and journalist of Austrian-Jewish descent. An early member of the German Social Democratic movement, Beer is best known for his historical writings on Marxism and labor movements. His works, including A History of British Socialism, brought Marxist theory to broader audiences and were influential in shaping socialist thought in the early 20th century.
