Michael S. Heiser

Dr. Michael S. Heiser is a scholar in the fields of biblical studies and the ancient Near East. He is currently a Scholar-in-Residence at Faithlife, the makers of Logos Bible Software. Before joining Faithlife, Dr. Heiser taught over a dozen courses in biblical studies on the college level. He has also taught biblical studies and biblical languages on the seminary level for many years. Dr. Heiser earned an MA in Ancient History from the University of Pennsylvania, and the MA and PhD in Hebrew Bible and Semitic Languages from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Heiser is the author of The Unseen Realm: Recovering the Supernatural Worldview of the Bible. He has also written two novels, the supernatural-theological thrillers The Façade, and its sequel, The Portent.
