Steve Liskow

Steve Liskow serves as a mentor for the Mystery Writers of America and writes the Grammar Guy column for First Draft, the online publication of the Guppies section of Sisters In Crime. "Stranglehold" appeared in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine after winning the 2009 Black Orchid Novella Award, and he has twice won Honorable Mention for the Al Blanchard Story Award from MWA. Several of his stories appear in collections of New England Crime Writing. He also conducts fiction writing workshops and contributed to Now Write! Mysteries (Tarcher/Penguin 2011). He lives in central Connecticut, the setting for many of his novels, with his wife Barbara and two rescued cats.
