Tali Gal

Tali Gal, PhD, is Assistant Professor and Head of the MA Program at the University of Haifa School of Criminology. Dr. Gal's research interests, teaching, and publications involve children's rights, restorative justice, victims' rights, and therapeutic jurisprudence. Her book Child Victims and Restorative Justice--A Needs-Rights Model was published by Oxford University Press in 2011. Prior to her academic career she practiced law as a children's rights advocate and Legal Advisor at the Israeli National Council for the Child.Benedetta Faedi Duramy, JSD, is an Associate Professor at Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco. She obtained her doctoral degree from Stanford Law School, Stanford University, where she received numerous awards for her extensive research and scholarship on gender-based violence, with a special focus on Haiti. She is the author of several book chapters and articles on human rights,gender, and children's rights. Her book Gender and Violence in Haiti: Women's Path from Victims to Agents was published by Rutgers University Press in 2014.
