關於這部電影

麥斯，一隻訓練有素的軍犬，在阿富汗與美國海軍陸戰隊凱爾溫考特搭檔擔任前線工作，但是當在行進時發生了可怕的事故，凱爾受到致命傷，而麥斯則因為失去他最好的朋友而精神受創，無法繼續服役。運回美國本土後，他唯一願意聯繫的人是凱爾的青少年弟弟，賈斯汀。麥斯不斷增長對賈斯汀的信任，他則幫助這個四條腿的老兵恢復英勇的自我，並一起與時間賽跑，要解開凱爾的死亡之謎，他們遇到更多刺激－驚險－出乎他們的意料，不過他們也可能會發現一個難得的新好朋友....對方。
