After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.

It's actually a pretty good story. Despite not being the original story, I like the thought of having other mutants. However, idk how I feel about Beebop and Rocksteady being allies. Maybe that will change later. I don't like what they did to April but it doesn't bother me much. There's a slight sense of virtue signaling, which usually automatically ruins a movie for me but the animation is so good. It takes attention away from all that

Grotesque and overly weird for no apparent reason. General plot was solid but hampered by the art and animation. Movie also wasn’t funny enough to distract you from it or used it to its advantage for jokes.

Beautiful animation reminiscent of sketch book doodles, great comedy, and a wholesome family dynamic. A fun watch for everybody.
