After a long summer with the horrid Dursleys, Harry Potter is thwarted in his attempts to board the train to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to begin his second year. Harry's only transportation option is a magical flying car, but, unfortunately, it crashes into a valuable Whomping Willow. Ok, so its not the most original story, being a rip-off of "the worst witch", but its still one of the best films series of all time! Although this 2nd film in the series is the weekest if you ask me. They cut out about 80% of the story from the books though, so I would LOVE to see a full and unabridged TV series from the books!

This movie wasn't my favorite but it's so hard to do justice to JK's work and ideas in only a couple of hours. It was definitely directed to be more family friendly and my boys enjoy it. It's pretty cool to share something from my childhood with my kids 😎
