I liked this when I was ten, now not so much... and that really sums it up the plot really is at a ten year old level of quality, to someone in their late 20s it just has far, far too many scientific inaccuracies, plot holes, and one of the worst cast group of "astronauts" Hollywood has ever created.

The first time I saw this I hated it, was utterly boring and dull. I saw where a movie reviewer thought that but gave it another try and liked it so I did too and now I'm not sure why I didn't like it. Good science fiction movie to watch in the dark.

This film had a lot of great moments, and the acting is pretty even throughout. The story itself failed on a few levels and the direction felt weak. It was one of those films that you wanted to like but realize that you can probably do as good a job directing it yourself.
