Award-winning director Joe Wright envelops moviegoers in a symphony of emotions with music, romance, and beauty in "Cyrano," re-imagining the timeless tale of a heartbreaking love triangle. A man ahead of his time, Cyrano de Bergerac (played by Peter Dinklage) dazzles whether with ferocious wordplay at a verbal joust or with brilliant swordplay in a duel. But, convinced that his appearance renders him unworthy of the love of a devoted friend, the luminous Roxanne (Haley Bennett), Cyrano has yet to declare his feelings for her - and Roxanne has fallen in love, at first sight, with Christian (Kelvin Harrison, Jr.).

Reytinglar va sharhlar

Cheap, modern, with a horribly shallow romance and a brainless heroine. I guess it's based on a play. A bad movie is still a bad movie. It's possible to use classical language while still having the characters converse like real people. This director's previous work, Pride & Prejudice, proves that. Instead, it felt like the actors were shouting their lines at each other. This is worlds apart from P&P, a bad romance, and a worse film. Peter Dinklage was good, that's the only nice thing I can say.

Warning: it's a musical. You could've had 40 more minutes of Dinklage just being Dinklage. Instead, I had to check to make sure I wasn't watching Frozen again.

Peter is a terrible actor. His comments about Snow white were quite revealing of what kind of woke tool he really is. Trying to score virtue points while screwing other people with dwarfism out of a job.
