It was a fun little DC animated movie. Also, to clarify some things I've read from other reviews/continuity questions - This is the first of the new sharee animated movie universe from DC. This new universe is called the DCUM(Detective Comics Universe Movie) it is, so far, followed up by JUSTICE SOCIETY WWII, BATMAN:THE LONG HALLOWEEN PT 1+2, and the upcoming INJUSTICE. And no, I didn't see any leftist woke propaganda. Not sure what that fella is talking about, but there's none of that. 8/10

Clark Kent, born as Kal-El from the dying planet, Krypton sent to Earth as an infant, adopted and raised by Jonathan and Martha Kent growing up in Smallville, Kansas. Years later Clark lives in Metropolis and works for the Daily Planet where he also started doing heroics before becoming Superman. While being between Metropolis and Smallville, Superman encounter an ally J'onn J'onzz / Martian Manhunter, and villains Lex Luthor, Lobo, and Rudy Jones / Parasite. Superman is one of my favorite superheroes to look up to along with Batman, The Flash, Green Arrow, Black Lightning, Supergirl, Batwoman, Static, Spider-Man (Peter Parker), Spider-Man (Miles Morales), and Black Panther.

I see some people saying stuff about the movie that isn't true, like it being woke leftist garbage. There isn't anything like that in this movie. As for the actual story, it was well done, with heavy emphasis on characterization, with themes of prejudice that actually feel like they fit with the narrative, rather than shoehorned in. Parasite was sympathetic, and Lobo was funny. It's a good movie.
