Moving the action out of the woods and into the city, “Evil Dead Rise” tells a twisted tale of two estranged sisters, played by Sutherland and Sullivan, whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh‐possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.

Ratings and reviews

Some unsettling possessed by demon faces and body contortions but overall, I found Evil Dead Rise to be pretty lame, lots of blood and gore, boring, but very little in the way of suspense, chills, genuine scares. I would give it 1.5 stars out of 5 stars. Dont waste your money, its stupid....and I love horror movies.

This version is in a different language other than English but does not say that it is! Do buy this version. I just had to request a refund. There’s no way of changing the language to English.

pretty decent movie... Had all the blood and gore of the evil dead movies, but none of the Bruce Campbell comedy. I wonder if this is suppose to be one of the three books that Ash chose from in the Army of Darkness movie. Cant wait to see the next movie!
