Ciò che non riesci a vedere può farti del male. La vincitrice dell'Emmy Elisabeth Moss (Noi; The Handmaid's Tale di Hulu) è la protagonista di una terrificante storia in chiave moderna sull'ossessione, ispirata ad uno dei mostri più popolari della Universal. Intrappolata in una relazione violenta e manipolatrice con un ricco e brillante scienziato, Cecilia Kass (Moss) scappa nel cuore della notte facendo perdere le sue tracce, con l'aiuto di sua sorella (Harriet Dyer, The InBetween della NBC), di un loro amico d'infanzia (Aldis Hodge, Straight Outta Compton) e dalla figlia adolescente di quest'ultimo (Storm Reid, Euphoria della HBO). Ma quando il violento ex di Cecilia (Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Hill House di Netflix) si suicida e le lascia in eredità una parte cospicua della sua vasta fortuna, Cecilia sospetta che la sua morte sia solo una messa in scena. Mentre una serie di inquietanti coincidenze diventano letali e minacciano la vita di coloro che ama, la sanità mentale di Cecilia inizia a vacillare, nel suo disperato tentativo di dimostrare di essere braccata da qualcuno che nessuno può vedere. Jason Blum, il nostro attuale maestro dell'horror, produce L'Uomo Invisibile con la sua Blumhouse Productions. L'Uomo Invisibile è scritto, diretto e prodotto esecutivamente da Leigh Whannell, uno dei creatori originali del franchise Saw che ha recentemente diretto Upgrade e Insidious 3 - L'inizio. Valutazioni e recensioni

"Invsible Man" did have me on the edge of my seat at times but I was disappointed in the ending. Not worth the $20.00 bucks though however; if anyone out there like me is on furlough & have time on your hands due to the Covid-19 pandemic, then by all means watch it. It will at least keep you occupied for 2 hours!

It was okay, had a few good moments. Spoilers.. The woman in the movie is very unattractive and annoying as all get out. I love physiological thrillers, This isn't one. There was not one twist or anything. I thought it would have been good, had she had a split personality, or he was telling her the truth before he died. Something interesting, but nope. This is probably a really unpopular opinion, but I wanted her to lose or be wrong, who would stay there? No one, you'd run. Extremely violent.

This movie could've been cut down to an hour and a half without missing any key plot points. The twist was evident from the start and the ending was by one of the worst I've seen in a major motion picture in a very long time. The fact that the film is named the invisible man is just a ploy to get scifi fans to pay for an over budget lifetime movie.
