Sam Mendes, the Oscar®-winning director of Skyfall, Spectre and American Beauty, brings his singular vision to this World War I epic. At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers, Schofield (Captain Fantastic's George MacKay) and Blake (Game of Thrones' Dean-Charles Chapman), are given a seemingly impossible mission. I was pleased with the movie...the acting was suitable given the assigned task....special effects made this acceptable...even the director in an interview stated that he had to have the war scenes set up in a very small piece of land...the two soldiers had a very difficult task of constantly staying in a proportionately tiny space that had to be changed over and over by his special effects team example played over Dish network...the computer team did a lot of special effects...a very different

Not what i was expecting. This is more in the vein of The Thin Red Line than a typical war movie. Interesting approach to film-making and quite suspenseful. i found myself mostly trying to put myself in the main character's shoes the entire time and thinking about what my reaction would be than any other movie i've ever watched.

At first it seem interesting. But it got worse, the whole entire movie I waited till it got interesting and into the action of war. I was soo wrong about this movie. It was one of the most boring movies I ever seen. While watching this movie I fell asleep and I am only 18.
