2001: odissea nello spazio è la stupefacente opera di Stanley Kubrick, vincitrice di un premio Oscar®. Un dramma suggestivo dell'uomo contro la macchina, un'incredibile fusione di musica e movimento. Kubrick inizia dai nostri antenati preistorici, poi attraversa i millenni (con uno dei jump cut più strabilianti della storia del cinema) fino allo spazio colonizzato per poi scaraventare l'astronauta Bowman nelle profondità ignote dello spazio, forse addirittura verso l'immortalità. "Apri la saracinesca esterna HAL." E che abbia inizio un incredibile viaggio senza precedenti.

Watching this movie was like having someone slowly peel off all my finger nails simultaneously... but I didn't resist because somehow I thought it would be worth it in the end... and then they poored salt in the wounds and mashed the finger nails back down... Simply torturous...

I tried to watch this movie once, all i got was a black screen with a humming sound, i only know what happened because i read the plot on Wikipedia, Stanley Kubrick is the master behind the shinning movie but i think ridley scott should've made this movie,

Visually impressive. Flat acting. No major tension involving HAL. Pointlessly and oainfully drawn out scenes. A horribly awful movie. Kubrik is vastly overrated with this one. Pass it by!
