The story is ok but it's just far too cheesy in some places and it could have been much better. The special effects are great and as I said, I loved the mass destruction. That part was really fun to watch but also terrifying at the same time...

For those of you who were disappointed that the world didn't end on the 21st of December 2012 this film is for you. This is about what would happen if the world did end. This film has high quality special effects which will blow you out of your seats, intense panic and action around virtually every corner. It even features a scene on what would happen if yellowstone did erupt and I learnt about yellowstone in geography. If you ever get a chance to watch this film, then please do so. You won't regret it.

Roland Emmerich does his best kind of film. Where everything gets destroyed. I like his movies all of them. Can't wait for independence day 2 he's directing it as he did the original one....
