It's balanced, believable, and illustrative of the times and situations of people, brought together through circumstances in a single place, and time, 1979. Really well done.

One of the finest films of 2017, great performances from Bening, Fanning, Cudrup, Zumann, and Gerwig, an excellent score, a very moving experience that was criminally under-recognized in the awards circuit.

J'ai adoré ce film. Intelligent, bien fait. Nostalgique et émouvant tout en étant très actuel. À voir absolument.
