About this movie

Hailed as the most frightening film since The Exorcist, acclaimed Director Danny Boyle's visionary take on zombie horror "isn't just scary it's absolutely terrifying" (Access Hollywood).

An infirmary patient awakens from a coma to an empty room in a vacant hospital in a deserted city. A powerful virus, which locks victims into a permanent state of murderous rage, has transformed the world around him into a seemingly desolate wasteland. Now a handful of survivors must fight to stay alive, unaware that the worst is yet to come.

Great to get away from the slow walking zombies, and great for showing when and how it started. "What really bothered me was the bad language. It was pretty much constant and was not needed - it ruined the film for me. Overall the acting was great except for 1 person who unfortunately was one of the main characters - the girl, Hannah. It was brutal! I wonder if she was related to a producer or someone high up. These two issues took me down from 5 stars to just 3.

I really like this movie, but like this movie and other that i bought before, Google only allows me to watch it in 480p at best... So no more purchases from play movies as i can get them free, and also play them at 720p or 1080p... I'm sure many more people feel the same, and also to charge 9.99 euro for a movie from the 1930's witch came be downloaded for free is disgraceful

Fantastic story just be aware that for stylistic and practical reasons at the time much of the movie is filmed on a DV film camera so the resolution is deliberately quite low. It's the same on the DVD - there's no need to fork out for the HD version of this film. Google were good enough to refund me when I asked.
