A romantic comedy infused with sharp dialogue reminiscent of early Woody Allen, 2 Days in Paris has thrilled audiences in festivals around the world. Marion (Julie Delpy), a French photographer and her boyfriend Jack (Adam Goldberg) attempt to re-energise their relationship in Paris. However her over-bearing parents and flirtatious ex-boyfriends drive Jack to the point of distraction. Not to mention that the condoms are too small and everybody hates Americans, including her parents. Will they be able to salvage their relationship? Will they ever have sex again? Funny for about half an hour before it all gets a bit unsettling and annoying. You won't see much of Paris btw, nor may you want to after this. It's ok but left me with no desire to see the sequel.
