The Most Infamous Murder Cases In Music History Finally Explained: Case Closed - The unsolved murders of Tupac Shakur and Christopher "Biggie Smalls" Wallace still stir the public's imagination after 20 years. The stuff of bad fiction, if "Battle for Compton" was a script pitched to "Law & Order," Dick Wolf would laugh the writer all the way to the unemployment office. A few minutes in, we get our first taste of the level of quality that we're in for when well-known Tupac friend and rapper Napoleon's name is misspelled "Napolean." Later, the names of Kurupt, Daz Dillinger, and three people central to this story (Rafael Perez, Amir Muhammad, and Chuck Philips) are also misspelled. But those oversights might have been forgivable if the rest of the film wasn't such a tedious, speculative fever dream of unhinged theories that are old enough to vote. With nine (9) interviews and other segments credited to the two previous Tupac Assassination movies and their DVD extras, and a number of video clips from the Internet and other documentaries that have been out for years, I started wondering what I was paying for. But in a bizarre segment at the end, one apparently new revelation serves as a perfect example of the film's tactics: Investigating a "suspicious" claim that Compton Police gave Vegas Metro Police a sweet deal on a jet helicopter shortly after the murders of Tupac

I just finished watching TA III. Let me first start off by saying TA III isn't about RJ Bond making another DVD debunking & refuting Greg Kading & the Murder Rap Theory. In fact this film isn't even about Murder Rap or Greg Kading at all. TA III digs deep into Political/Government & Law Enforcement corruption that was going on in Southern California/Compton inside and outside of Death Row Records and the struggle of political power that came with it. Both the murders of Tupac Shakur and Christopher Wallace remain unsolved to this day,TA III looks into the reasons why both their murders remain cold cases with new evidence and information related to their murders. This film details factual information regarding the corruption within Compton PD that was tied to Death Row Records & allowed Death Row Records to operate in the MOB like fashion they ran by. This film isn't one of those discreditable documentaries that has missing pieces and documents to back up claims made. This Film has a lot of factual information with documents & credible officials that confirm the information & details in this film to be true. I really liked the in-depth detailed information

This film is tedious and boring, and it benefited off of a publicity stunt where it was claimed that Knight's attorney said that Suge endorsed this theory. Then that attorney had to put out a full denial and clean up the mess. Now the film's Facebook page claims that it's "an exploration of people who MAY have means motive and opportunity to commit a crime..." so take it all with a big grain of salt. It's poorly made and difficult to follow unless you're already an expert on this case, and even then it isn't worth the effort.
