In the action-comedy 30 Minutes or Less, Nick (Jesse Eisenberg) is a small town pizza delivery guy whose mundane life collides with the big plans of two wanna-be criminal masterminds (Danny McBride and Nick Swardson). The volatile duo kidnaps Nick and forces him to rob a bank. With mere hours to pull off the impossible task, Nick enlists the help of his ex-best friend, Chet (Aziz Ansari). As the clock ticks, the two must deal with the police, hired assassins, flamethrowers, and their own tumultuous relationship. Some very fun performances, a fast pace (the movie is only 82 minutes), and stupid fun wrapped around an original idea. If you're looking for an Oscar winning film, this isn't it. But if you just want an easy comedy then give it a try. I'm not a huge Aziz fan but he was very funny in this.

Why make a comedy about a horrifying event that actually happened? If somebody made a stupid comedy out of Columbine or some other shooting, there would be way more controversy. I watched this movie and couldn't get over how wrong it is. Not only is it stupid and unfunny, it is just plain offensive due to the story actually happening. Of course, the guy died not long after robbing the bank. They had to change that so as to not lose people who want a lighthearted comedy.

In the scene where Nick goes to the school to get help from his friend it looks like Jesse Eisenberg doesn't have eyebrows. This made me pay close attention to later scenes to see if it was true (that he didn't have eyebrows). It isn't. In one of the next scenes it is made apparent that yes, he does indeed have eyebrows.
