About this movie

3 Years in Pakistan: The Erik Aude Story is a feature length documentary about Erik Aude an American actor, who was sent to death row in one of the most dangerous prisons in Pakistan for a crime he didn't commit. While on a business trip to Pakistan, Erik was arrested at Islamabad International Airport when they found opium in his suitcase. He maintained his innocence and with the help of Casting Director, Joey Paul Jensen and the help of political figures including New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, was released in December of 2004. Today, Erik is a working actor, stunt coordinator and professional poker player which he learned to play while in prison from the 1986 Pan Am hijackers. This film features Hollywood actors Quinton Aaron (The Blindside), Meagan Good (Think Like A Man), and former Major League Baseball player, Jose Canseco.

After listening to the Jordan Harbinger podcast interview with Erik Audé I was expecting much better but the podcast interview is actually better than this movie and free. I recommend you check that out in place of this.

This is a movie that will absolutely make you appreciate your life more. If you're in a dark place for whatever reason, then watch what this man went through and how he was able to still smile.

That's the life of a lot of black men in United States. US jails are filled for profit with innocent black young men and they forced to plea guilty.
