Ruth (Inma Cuesta), a university researcher who can never find her Mr. Right, is faced with some disastrous days when she receives invitations from three ex-boyfriends to their respective weddings. An (ex) commitment-phobe, an over-the-top surfer and a transsexual, now a woman, make up the “delightful” group of ex-boyfriends who will make her suffer a gussied up hell from party to party and from reception to reception along with her intern, the only companion she could persuade to follow her on such thankless missions.
