About this movie

Sisters Lisa (Mandy Moore, "This is Us") and Kate (Claire Holt, "The Originals") become trapped at the bottom of the ocean when a diving expedition to observe sharks goes horribly wrong. When I was in the classroom, a 12 - year - old student wanted to watch the movie and I just didn't want to see it because it was terrifying, it was bloody, and it was dark. During the movie, my teacher is letting me go outside to calm down and she wanted me to do something that is good and stare at the wall, instead of looking at it. After the movie, I was feeling sad and frightened because of that and I was worried that my 13 - year - old friend will have nightmares.

I did not have high expectations for this movie and repeatedly passed it up until now...The acting is not bad but whom ever wrote the script dialog between the sisters was sub par..It is somewhat predictable but as you begin to go "ok this is about to happen" there is a twist which was brilliant in its own right that keep you guessing... If you like a Simi scary/ Oh $h¡t flick than this does a decent job of that

I watched a redbox copy, and it sucked a lot. Like way too much. It was so boring and not even scary. The characters seem to ignore the laws of physics and common sense. I liked (spoiler) the part where the shark got his eyes ripped out though it was a hallucination. He got what he diserved. I also assumed it's gender so don't get triggered.
