Keanu Reeves stars in the action-adventure epic, 47 Ronin. After a treacherous warlord kills their master and banishes their kind, 47 leaderless samurai vow to seek vengeance and reclaim their honor. This band of ronin must seek help from Kai (Keanu Reeves) an enslaved half-breed they once rejected in their ultimate fight for redemption in a savage world of mythic and wondrous terrors. Notes et avis

Great Japanese history. I think Keanu Reeves did an excellent job playing his character. The fight scenes don't have a lot of blood, something that should have been added. CGI were amazing. This movie can be for any guy or girl. I thought the love story behind the initial plot added depth and emotional strength. My favorite quotes... "I will search for you through 1000 worlds and 10000 lifetimes...and I will wait for you in all of them." Hoping for a sequel.

This movie is at best B-. This is based on a very very short and simple Japanese story about 47 Ronins with an extra bit of "magic" and a random dude named "Kai". It simply misses too many opportunities in action scenes. For example, skeleton tattooed guy has TWO freaking lines in the entire movie with 2 minute appearance even though all posters depict him as a major character. and that's just the tip of iceberg...

This kind of movie has been done over n over again. Acting was bad (of course). The actual ronin seemed non existent. The movies called 47 ronin. But they made the story about how Keanu Reeves was gonna save his love interest from the clutches of evil. Just pathetic. Anyway, if u skip this film your not missing anything. Trust me
