ამ ფილმის შესახებ

This is a story of a young man's no-holds-barred love affair. Tom still believes in the notion of a transforming, cosmically destined, lightning-strikes-once kind of love. Summer, the girl, doesn't. But that doesn't stop Tom from going after her, again and again, like a modern Don Quixote. Suddenly, Tom is in love not just with a lovely, witty, intelligent woman but with the very idea of Summer, the very idea of a love that still has the power to shock the heart and stop the world.

I think it's awesome how much Joseph truly understands attraction and dating between men and women. This movie was not only entertaining, it is vastly and literally educational in the arena of attraction and how it relates to the "nice guy" syndrome that most men in this modern era have, especially in America. This movie correlates with his movie Don Jon. I highly recommend watching that as well! Men! Do yourselves a favor and take time to understand your masculinity, realizing that most of the things we were taught as young boy are lies, smoke, and mirrors, especially when it comes to creating attraction within a women. Tom was portraying the "nice guy", and Joseph is showing the audience that this is why Summer (the feminine essence) keeps him at a distance. Deep! and it needs to be understood by you!

This movie is shockingly a good romance film. None of the usual bull crap we see now a days, but it has a fresh feel to it. Joseph Gordon Levitt (The Dark Knight Rises & Inception) and Zooey Deschenel (Our Idiot Brother & Yes Man) have really good chemistry as the couple portrayed in the film.

Yet another hour and a half of misogyny churned out by Hollyweird. Funny too because this picture features a clip from 'Mrs Robinson', perhaps one of the most misogynistic films of all time. Amazing that this type of subject (females presented as simple/complicated, careless, daffy, pretty things) appears again and again with new sparkling faces and foxy soundtracks. Same thing different decade. Mr. Levitt and Ms. Deschanel are wonderful actors. Pity they appeared in this turd of a motion picture.
