I think it is a good blend of all the possession movies, crossed with the, "there's only one evil being, there is love of one Good being", mingled with the endured University theme of sciences, "Prove it?" I was kinda hoping for some proof in the pudding. I was fooled again. Good on you! ;- ) I don't know if I would show this movie to anyone whose got bible thumping blood on their hands. LOL

We've seen this before. Scientific skepticism upended by supernatural experience. Julianne Moore rises above ho-hum character development to deliver a nuanced performance as a psychologist in the middle of a crisis of faith, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers is believably vulnerable.

The movie, in totality was what all movies set out to be, entertaining. The
suspense was done well, and the plot was original, which is always
refreshing. It does require a curious, open mind to keep up with the story,
but once everything comes to light, I think you will be pleased with this
flick.
